Twitter is a haven for some of the biggest names in the Rap industry to plug their new albums, talk about first week sales numbers and provide the people with inspirational quotes...but for every Diddy, LL Cool J and Joe Budden, there are a handful of rappers who have all but abandoned the twits. Do they know something we don't? Was the Twitter grind too much? Do they have too much money to worry about what people are eating for lunch? Here are 5 Rappers Who Don't Use Their Twitter Accounts Anymore.
CAM'RON
Here is Cam'ron's last tweet:
This is just like when Cam told us it was gonna be a hot summer:
You do gotta give Cam SOME props though. He actually used his Twitter account to keep fans updated on his movements. The writing may have been on the wall however with this tweet to Miss Info:
It sure is Cam...it sure is...BUT "You Gotta Love It."
OJ DA JUICEMAN
If only he would stop rapping too. Da Juiceman was goin' pretty hard (pause) with the tweets this past summer...up until dropping this last tweet:
Not a very exciting finish, right? Kinda like the ending of "The Sopranos." We aren't really missing much as Juiceman's tweets consisted of writing "burr burr" and tweeting "thanks babe" to Twitter groupies. Here is my personal favorite Juiceman tweet:
Where would they ever get that idea?
CHARLES HAMILTON
Charles Hamilton stopped using his Twitter shortly after getting punched in the face by a girl. Here is Dukie's last tweet:
Sunshine? Aint no sunshine when it's gone Charles. There are so many highlight tweets during Charles Twitter run it's hard to choose...but here are a few:
File this one under "things that will never happen."
This wouldn't work because people ACTUALLY called Mike Jones.
I can't stand this guy...on to the next one.
EMINEM
Eminem's Twitter account was used strictly as a promotional tool for his latest album "Relapse"...with the exception of his the ghost tweeters last tweet where he addressed the following song that people were saying was a diss by Eminem towards Soulja Boy:
As it stands right now, Eminem still has 299,742 followers. Some of the Twitter promos were very cool including giving away concert tickets scavenger hunt style...but it would be real dope if Em (the REAL Slim Shady) had stuck around and got involved in the tweets. You can expect Em's ghost tweeter to swing back around when the run-up to "Relapse 2" begins.
JAY-Z
While there is still some debate as to whether or not S_C_ is Jay-Z, most people assume Hov was once rockin' this Twitter account. His first tweet was on November 22nd 2008 and went like this:
"Ahmir" presumably referred to Questlove of The Roots who is in no danger of twittering less anytime soon.
Hov's last tweet (or so we thought) was on June 3rd, 2009 and it read "I will never have a "record deal" again" which referred to his new Roc Nation label with Live Nation...then out of nowhere on September 15th S_C_ tweeted this:
Is Jay-Z feelin' Drake so much that Toronto's own will make him return to the tweets? Sometimes the tweet game reminds of the crack game. What does that mean? No clue...just wanted to write it.

Shit Kid Cudi took his down completely
