One day after Jay-Z broke ground on the new Nets stadium in Brooklyn, Dame Dash was in Rochester, New York to break ground on a new little league baseball diamond.
Dash, along with the Little League Baseball Association of Rochester, were on hand to officially begin work on the state of the art little league diamond that will be used mostly for t-ball games.
"I'm excited to be here" Dash said. "I think this is gonna be one of the freshest little league diamonds anywhere."
Dash, who was at one times business partners with the wildly successful Jay-Z, says he's happy for Hov even though he sees little league more important than the NBA.
"Yeah it's cool Jay is down with the Nets and stuff" states Dash. "For me personally the NBA isn't my thing. I'd rather be closer to the people and little league lets me do that."
In other news, it was announced today that Dash's sometimes business partner Jim Jones will soon be teaching high school classes:
When asked if Jones might get involved with some of his little league activites, Dash said "you never know...Jones t-ball game is tough."
