SMH At This XXL Cover...Have They Finally Turned Into The Source?

How ironic is this May XXL cover featuring Drake and Nicki Minaj? A few problems:

- Nicki Minaj can't Rap. Yes she's sexy...but she can't Rap so to anoint her "royalty" is ridiculous.

- "What's wrong with New York Hip-Hop?" Oh I don't know. Maybe the fact that Nicki Minaj is getting XXL covers...that's a start.

- "The struggle of female MCs"...see above.

Props to Drake but what does "The Rebirth of Rap Royalty" even mean? I don't even understand what they're trying to say.

Has XXL finally turned into The Source? If not, it's sure getting close. Getting rid of YN was the worst thing they ever did.
