Read on my friends...read on...10 Lil' and Yung/Young Rappers That Aren't Little or Young Anymore.
Lil' Jon (Age: 40)
Not only is Lil' Jon still screamin' up a storm at age 40, but this guy still hasn't stopped dressing like a 12 year-old white kid who just bought his first Rap album. I mean I'm fine with "forever young" and that whole steez, but Lil' Jon gonna be grey as shit, rollin' with a walker yellin' "wwwwwwwwhat" at the age of 80.
Young Jeezy (Age: 33)
Young jizzle is thirty thrizzle years old now. And yeah, 33 aint old by today's standards but don't be surprised if future album titles include "Thug Motivation 104: 40's The New 30 Which Is The New 20"
Young Dro (Age: 31)
If you see Young Dro's shoulder leanin' these days it may be 'cause of an early case of arthritis.
Lil' Troy (Age: Not Lil')
It seems like Lil' Troy has put the Internets in a stranglehold 'cause this dude's age is nowhere to be found. But trust me, Troy been sittin' fat down south for a minute. While you Google and try to find Troy's age, be sure to check out his resume on IMDB where you'll find credits for Hollywood classics such as "Diggin' For Dollars" and "Hustletown Mobbin'"
YoungBloodz (J-Bo - Age 33 and Sean P - Age 31)
The blood runnin' through Bo and P these days is of that 30+ variety. These two are still drankin' patnaz but it's moved from beer to a fine scotch.
Lil' Rob (Age: 35)
Ironically, Lil' Rob's 2010 album is called "Oldies Collection." Yes sometimes the jokes do write themselves. Fun fact: Lil' Rob has a song called "Peek-a-Boo" on his 2002 album "Can't Keep A Good Man Down"...seriously...look it up.
Young MC (Age: 44)
You know who isn't young anymore? Young MC. At the age of 44, Young MC has performed "Bust A Move" 9,657,822 times (approx. number). You may or may not know that Young MC dropped an album called "Adrenaline Flow" in 2007. The only thing missing from the album was adrenaline.
Lil' Kim (Age: 36)
The L-I-L to the K-I-M is now a C-O-U-G-A-R.
Lil' Wayne (Age: 28)
So Weezy isn't the most extreme example at the age of 28, but am I the only one who can't see a 40 year-old Lil' Wayne touring? I mean Jay-Z's whole style and vibe has grown with him. I don't see a 40 year-old Lil' Wayne out there still performing "Fireman."
