According to a British coroner, Amy Winehouse died from drinking too much alcohol.
The coroner says that the singer had more than five times the legal driving limit of alcohol in her system at the time of her death. The cause of her death was ruled "death by misadventure."
According to comments by Coroner Suzanne Greenway to the Guardian, her consumption was at fatal levels.
"She had consumed sufficient alcohol at 416 mg per deciliter [of blood] and the unintended consequence of such potentially fatal levels was her sudden and unexpected death."
Winehouse died this past July at the age of 27.
