The number makes it the fastest selling game in EA history.
Now, while that number may blow your mind, check this stat. When it was released last year, 'Call of Duty: Black Ops' sold 5.6 million copies...in ONE DAY!
Along with the 5 million copies sold in the first week, 'Battlefield 3' has 2.5 million "likes" on Facebook and over 200,000 followers on Twitter.
The game is a super hit and I think that's the only reason for selling 5 million copies in the first week itself.
