Now don't you wish you had done some "free" work for Facebook in the beginning?
According to the New York Times, David Choe, a graffiti artist and quite possibly the smartest person on earth, stands to be worth around $200 million once the Facebook IPO hits the market.
In exchange for creating paintings at Facebook's original headquarters, Choe received stock in the company. Those shares owned by Choe are expected to be worth around $200 million once the Facebook IPO hits.
Choe was reportedly offered a few thousand dollars pay or stock in the company. Choe took the stock...wow.
Son...of...a...bitch.

This is so awesome.
It speaks to collaboration and working out deals.
It speaks to investing in the visions of others.
It speaks to artist's who aren't starving, but smart :)
Nice.
