The dollar signs are in sight already and she isn't even a year old.
According to Rolling Stone, Jay-Z and Beyonce have filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to protect the name of their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
It's said that the couple want to reserve the name for possible use as a brand name for a line of baby-related products, including carriages, diaper bags and baby cosmetics (the fuck?).
Word is Jay and B were forced to act quickly as two other people had submitted trademark applications on Blue Ivy's name. Fashion designer Joseph Mbeh submitted an application to trademark "Blue Ivy Carter NYC" only four days after the kid was born. And another person submitted an application on "Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV."
These chilrins are big business.
