Yesterday, Cohen, dressed as his character Admiral General Aldeen, released the video statement above in response to The Oscars banning him from attending the show dressed as his character in the up-coming film 'The Dictator.'
Some breaking news on this front. Oscars producer Brian Grazer tells the Los Angeles Times that they are thrilled to have Cohen...or Aldeen:
"We're thrilled to have him and he'll be on the red carpet, I guess, dressed as the Dictator."
And to celebrate the victory, General Aldeen released the following statement:
"VICTORY IS OURS! Today the Mighty Nation of Wadiya triumphed over the Zionist snakes of Hollywood. Evil and all those who made Satan their protector were vanquished and driven into the Pacific Sea. What I am trying to say here is that the Academy have surrendered and sent over two tickets and a parking pass! TODAY OSCAR, TOMORROW OBAMA!"
LOL. At least you have a reason to watch the show now. Good luck Billy Crystals!
