Jay-Z Making "Major Announcement" with Mayor of Philadelphia on Monday May 14

According to various reports, Jay-Z will join Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter for a "major announcement" this Monday May 14.

The announcement will take place at 1030am on the steps of the Philly Art Museum.

Rumors are floating around that the announcement is that Jay-Z will headline the July 4 Wawa Welcome America! Festival concert with Philly's own The Roots as his house band.

Another rumor is that Jay-Z will publicly end his beef with Philly's Beanie Sigel. No disrespect to Beanie, but is that something the Mayor of Philly would get involved in?
