According to CTPost.com, Alfred "Paper Love" Green and Raheim Pope face larceny charges after police said they were spotted taking hundreds of dollars worth of books from a Barnes & Noble on Post Road East in Connecticut.
Green and Pope are currently writing & producing a musical based on the life of The Notorious B.I.G.
Officers dispatched to investigate the report found the suspects, and determined that books valued at $868 found in a nearby Jaguar with Georgia license plates had been taken from the store by the men, police said. Pope faces charges of fifth-degree larceny, fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny and interfering with an officer. His was released after posting a $5,000 appearance bond. Green was charged with fifth-degree criminal attempt at larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny and arraigned at the Norwalk courthouse. He was held overnight on a $500 appearance bond.
Now the real story highlight? Amongst the stolen books were 3 copies of R. Kelly's "Soula Coaster: The Diary of Me"...3 COPIES!!!
