Following Lil' Wayne's comments to MTV saying "flat out: I don't like New York", NY Senator Malcolm Smith is demanding Lil' Wayne issue an apology to the city sending out the following press release:
New York City is the birthplace of the Hip Hop music movement. Millions of New Yorkers listen to his music every day. His comments is outraged his local fans and residents. The group today will be demanding an apology of the hip hop star. Lil Wayne has had misfortune in New York with recent gun charges and a jail sentence.
If you want to join Smith in demanding an apology from Wayne, he'll be at Times Square in Duffy Square between 47th and 46th in between Broadway and 7th Avenue today at 3PM according to Hip-Hop Wired.
