According to reports, former New York Giant Michael Strahan is in the final stages of negotiations to take over the spot left vacant by Regis Philbin on 'Live! With Kelly.'
The show has featured alternating co-hosts since Regis stepped down in November 2011.
Strahan is one of 59 guest hosts who had an opportunity to sit in Reg's chair since the legendary host stepped down.
It's said that Kelly selected Strahan over all the others.
