According to XXL, Wyclef Jean will be performing at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida on August 29.
For the record, Willie Nelson and Randy Travis were also invited to perform but both declined.
In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily last year, 'Clef made it known that he was a fan of Sarah Palin:
“I am a huge fan of Sarah Palin…’cause she’s rad,” he said. “She’s shrewd. She’s cool. Anyone should have the right to say, ‘Look I can do the job and this is what qualifies me to do the job.’”
Is 'Clef also a fan of Mitt? I hope he's ready to let the dogs out:
