This is very cool. DC artist Demont Peekaso's "Hip-Hop Mount Rushmore" features Biggie, 2Pac and Jay-Z...but it's missing one artist. Rocawear is giving Hip-Hop fans the chance to choose the 4th artist.

'Humpty Dumpty' - The Sci-Fi Horror Graphic Novel Hits Stores

In time for Halloween, the new graphic novel 'Billy Majestic's Humpty Dumpty' has hit stores.

In BILLY MAJESTIC’S HUMPTY DUMPTY, two backwoods brothers, Petus and Pervis Brakk, ambush a group of extraterrestrial beings who have crash-landed on their swampland property. The brothers capture the alien female and secretly keep her prisoner. After month of captivity, the now-pregnant alien escapes into the swampland, where she gives birth to a monstrous half-human, half-alien creature, who exacts revenge on the sadistic Brakk brothers. Joining Majestic on this terrifying tale are artists Jordan Jordanov and Ven Dinkov.

Revenger Comics had this to say about their new release:

“Billy Majestic’s Humpty Dumpty has been a labor of love for all of us at Revenger. We could not be more excited to join IDW in bringing Humpty to the fans around the world who have hung in there with us for the two years it took to complete the graphic novel. We look forward to getting him to the big screen and keeping the weirdness going!” said Mad Jones of Revenger Comics.

'Humpty Dumpty' is also in pre-production as a major motion picture.

PHOTOS: Pharrell Designs One-Of-A-Kind Bicycle

I don't know much about bikes. I think the last time I rode one was when I was 14. Pharrell has teamed up with design house Domeau & Peres to design the hi-end bicycle pictured above. The fixed gear bike (I assume this means it doesn't change gears?) features an all yellow leather trim. The bike is currently on display at the W Lounge which is a launch pad for the new W Hotel in Paris. Hit the jump for more photos.

Submit Your Art For A New Jay-Z Book

Artists listen up. Here's your chance to have your work featured in a new Jay-Z biography/music'ography being written by New York based Cultural Strategist and Music Editor Omar Dubois.

Artists are being asked to submit an original image - a painting, lithography, etc. - that represents their personal interpretation of Jay-Z's track, "Hovi Baby." Interesting track to submit art for, no? According to the press release, Omar is looking for impassioned, raw images that embody how the artist is moved by this track.

Those wishing to submit their art need to create a profile at Talenthouse.com. The submission deadline is September 24th with the winner being selected October 22nd. Submissions should be sent in JPEG/GIF format, not to exceed 5MB each. There should be no more than 3 samples per submission and the comp should be in a landscape format or portrait.

PHOTOS: Artist Steven Powers Curated Love Letter Project

Graffiti artist Steven Powers aka Espo in conjunction with the city of brotherly love Philadelphia, has launched a series of new works part of the artist series love letter street mural exhibit. “Love Letter is literally a love letter painted on the walls facing the Market elevated train. 40 local and international artists will paint the walls in august and the letter will be on view for one and all starting as early as Labor Day. The project will encompass 50 painted walls between 63rd and 45th street on Market Street, a documentary film with scripted elements, a sign school and shop that will provide training for area youth and free signage for businesses on the market street corridor, and 2 books documenting the project. One of the books will be a small paperback that will be distributed to area businesses free of charge, for them to sell to visitors. The other book will be a larger hardcover book that will document not only the artwork, but the neighborhood and the inspirations of the Love Letter Project.”
