Lamborghini Gives Its Approval to G.O.O.D. Music's "Mercy"

A US spokesperson for Lamborghini says the company appreciates the publicity resulting from the automobile's mention on G.O.O.D. Music's "Mercy":

The spokesperson tells Complex:

“We appreciate the publicity,” said a United States Lamborghini spokesperson to Complex. “But more importantly, we hope Kanye has the opportunity to fully experience the exhilarating performance and technical innovations found in all Lamborghinis.”...Most owners tell us they’ve had a lifelong love affair with the brand before they actually purchased their Lamborghini,” added the spokesperson. “This is another example of the use of a Lamborghini in various art forms. Communicating success, individuality and creativity are hallmarks of the brand.”

The Lambo shout happens on the song's hook:

"Lamborghini mercy/Your chick, she's so thirsty"

'Otis' Maybach Sells for only $60K

A steal of a deal.

According to The Sauce (via RapRadar), Jay-Z and Kanye's beat-up-to-shit Maybach from the 'Otis' video sold for only $60K at the Phillips de Pury auction event in New York this past Thursday.

Word is the car sold in 5 minutes. The Maybach was originally expected to fetch $100K +.

Portions of the proceeds from the auction went to the Save The Children foundation.

will.i.am Unveils His Own Car Called IAMAUTO

During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am unveiled the prototype (photo above) for his line of cars called IAMAUTO. will says he is looking to build the automobile in order to create jobs in east L.A.

He said the following to Leno:

“I’m a big technology freak and a geek and I invested my money in building my own vehicle ’cause I want to bring jobs to the ghetto that I come from,” explained will. “I invested in making a demo to start the Black Eyed Peas, now I want to invest to have a car company in the neighborhood where I come from.”

It looks like a Camaro to me...and it has a Beats By Dre soundsystem inside...but what doesn't have Beats By Dre these days? I'm pretty sure my blender has Beats audio.
