It's Reggae Time Again - October 7th, 2009

I don't know about you, but I don't think Reggae music gets enough shine on the Internets. I'm a huge fan of Reggae (both Dancehall and Roots...but I prefer Roots). I've decided to start a new weekly feature at brokencool.com called "It's Reggae Time Again." Each Wednesday brokencool will highlight Reggae news, look back at some classic videos, put you on to some new artists, or post some new Reggae music. Here is some CRAZY news comin' out of the world of Reggae. 80s Reggae artist Major Mackerel was reportedly attacked with a sword this past Sunday following an altercation with a neighbor in Brooklyn.

The neighbor alleged that Mackerel was harrassing his wife and proceeded to attack him with a sword resulting in Mackerel being treated for lacerations to his head, arm and hand. The neighbor was charged with assault with intent to cause serious injury.
